Digital Health & Capacity Strengthening Intern - IT

What You Will Do 

  • Support the organization and preparation for capacity building activities, including workshops, trainings, mentoring, and coaching activities with partners. 
  • Support to review technical content and documents. 
  • Support to follow the CQI plan, collect and entry data relating to CQI implementation at the project sites. 
  • Support to revise the CQI report tracking system. 
  • Support to carry out the technical desk review and training curriculum. 
  • Support technical assistance activities, specifically in the digital transformation of STEPS partners including clinics and social enterprises. 
  • Assist with the general day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Other tasks upon request.  

Required Skills and Abilities 

  • Candidates must be a final-year student or fresh graduate (under 1 year). 
  • Enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program. Preferred areas of study include health, information technology, communications, and relevant areas. 
  • Previous experience with developing and executing tools for digital transformation; working with private sector partners. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Demonstrable certain experience in communication, marketing and digital health 
  • Experience with previous Continuous quality improvement (CQI) projects is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of HIV and LGBT issues is preferred
  • Possess a professional level of English (reading and writing).  

Skills to be developed and/or expanded during the internship: 

  • Intern will develop digital transformation skills working with project-supported social enterprises and clinics. 
  • Interns will deepen their knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of public health and epidemiology. 
  • Intern will develop essential skills for a CQI project (developing, implementing, evaluating aims and measures, and reporting)
  • Intern will develop comprehensive skills in workshops, meetings, events organization, and other administrative tasks.  

Overall learning objectives and goals for the internship/benefit to the Intern: 

  • Intern will build the ability to multi-task and work professionally with various colleagues and mentors within USAID/PATH STEPS, developing project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Intern will gain and utilize experience in high-level report writing, training/event organization, CQI, digital health working with various partners.  

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam. 
 
Candidates must currently have legal authorization to work in Vietnam
