The Programme

The FWD Summer Internship Program offers students and fresh graduates from all majors an exciting and differentiated experience with FWD Vietnam.

We are open opportunities in the following functions: Agency, Bancassurance, Independent Financial Advisor & Digital Commerce, Finance, Information Technology & Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Governance (including Legal, Compliance & Risk Management). 
 
Recruitment Process:

• Application (15/04/2024 - 14/05/2024) 
• HR & Functional Interview. 
• Onboarding.

What You Will Do

Distribution Planning, Reporting, Contest & Compensation: 

• Support in data management and periodic reports. 
• Provide analysis about sales performance and effectiveness of sales contest and promotion. 
• Develop tools and dashboards to calculate agent income, incentive and costing model. 
• Assist in preparing contest memos, presentation decks and other documents. 
• Participate in system enhancement projects and other initiatives (if any). 
• Other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Bancassurance Quality Assurance:

• Works directly with Banca Quality Assurance team to identify risks, implement controls to manage these risks, test control effectiveness and report regularly on any risks, incidents or issues relating to partnership sales quality. 
• Support in maintaining data availability from different sources for further analysis. 
• Depending on your interests and experience, you will develop and evaluate comprehensive sales quality analyses combining new sales and renewal sales data, and/or develop an approach to continuously monitoring sales quality. 
• Support in re-organizing the controlled document system into functional buckets. 
• Other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Data & Digital:

• Explore and implement Microsoft Power Automation to optimize the data delivery process. 
• Provide support for Proof of Concept (POC) projects relating to the application of Gen AI in the insurance industry. 
• Other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Current 3rd – 4th year students or fresh-graduates from Statistics/ Mathematics/ MIS/ Data Science/ Finance/ Economics or other related majors.  
• Available to work full-time from June to August. 
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 7.0/10 or equivalent. 
• Passionate about exploring the Life Insurance Industry. 
• Good at interpersonal & communication skills in both Vietnamese and English. 
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access). 
• Skilled in SQL, Python, Power BI is a big plus. 
• Good analytical thinking and data management mindset. 
• Proactive, willing to learn and grow with a can-do attitude. 
• Keen on learning about distribution channels, new concepts and technology.
