Ascent Graduate 2024 - Computer Science

The Programme

We are seeking a Graduate who have completed their BS/BA/MA/MSc/PHD studies between 2023 and 2024 with Degrees including:

• Telecommunication/ Computer Networking. 
• Computer Science / Data Analytics. 

Joining our graduate program that offers the successful applicants the starting point in their longer-term career with Ericsson, and within the Tele-Communication industry. The graduates will be encouraged to think big and given the freedom and support to turn their ideas into achievements. 
 
The Ascent graduate will work on challenging RAN (Radio Access Network) opportunities and be part of a global community of professionals and you will develop under the guidance of a team of expert & leadership 
 
Program Overview:

• The program is open to soon to be graduates and those who have received their qualification within 18 months. 
• Join a strong profession team that today shape the 5G Radio Deployment in Vietnam with innovated Radio Network Solutions. 
• Rotations can be offered across Radio Access Network & Transport Domain and other departments of Ericsson.

What You Will Do

• Discuss & create technical solutions for new RAN/Transport opportunities. 
• Collect customer data and suggest new solutions which improve the network quality with optimized TCO. 
• Prepare BoQ for new Solutions and prepare description value argumentation for RAN HW/SW and Radio Site Material. 
• The Solutions are selected from Ericsson global portfolio and does not require any programing during the process.

Required Skills and Abilities

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

• A strong interest in Telecommunication, the words GSM, WCDMA, LTE and New Radio (5G) must be very known for you, and you have today a good understanding on the difference of the different radio technologies and potential 5G use-cases. 
• High level academic achievement (academic transcripts or summary of results to date must be included) 
• Evidence of leadership roles and achievements at school, University or in outside interests would be highly regarded. 
• Candidates must be completing their initial degree or honors level qualification 2024 
• Candidates completing higher-level qualifications will also be considered. 
• Strong interest to work in a Technical-Commercial role and create new Radio solutions for the Telecom Operators in Vietnam.

Highly Regarded Experience:

• Knowledge of Telecommunication Networks. 
• Familiar with automation tools & AI. 
• Cloud Native exposure. 
• Experience with IP Networking and Information & Network Security is an advantage. 
• Double Degrees including business would be highly regarded for this technical-commercial role.
