Ascent Graduate 2024 - Engineering - Customer Support

The Programme

We are looking for graduate for Customer Network Support engineer role based out in Vietnam. 
 
In this role, you will handle, analyze, and resolve issues related to 5G Core and 5G Radio Access Networks (RAN) for our customers who are telecom operators in Vietnam and in the region.  
 
You will collaborate closely with our Global Support team to provide emergency assistance, manage Customer Support Requests, perform software updates, and solve network problems.

What You Will Do

At first, you will get opportunities to learn and take part into OJT (on job training) with multiple projects to gain experience and competence that you most passionate about across areas of expertise: 5G Core, Cloud, Virtualized Package Core, IMS, UDM, and Radio Access Network.

Then you will be giving opportunities to involve into System Integration tasks and Customer 

Support tasks which may include the following. 

  • Resolve customer network issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions, meeting Service Level Agreement requirement.
  • Provide preemptive and data-driven support to anticipate and address potential problems.  
  • Implement software updates to maintain efficient network performance.  
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships, ensuring their happiness and trust.

Required Skills and Abilities

Join us if you have completed your BS/BA/MA/MSc studies or soon to be graduate in 2024 with Degrees including:

  • Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering. 
  • Information Technology / Computer Networking / Computer Science

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.   
  • High level academic achievement (academic transcripts or summary of results to date must be included).  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.   
  • Knowledge of telecommunications networks and technologies.   
  • Cloud experience or exposure.  
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.   
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, knowledge transfer and reuse.  
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.   
  • Good communication in English.    
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.   
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.   
  • Availability for on-call duties and flexible working hours when required. 

Highly Regarded Experience: 

  • Programming experience in Java, C/C++, Python.  
  • Knowledge of Databases, PowerBI, machine learning, automation.  
  • Experience or knowledge in APIs.  
  • Experience with IP Networking and Information & Network Security.
