Embedded Software Intern - Telecommunication

What You Will Do

As a part Bosch group, our responsibility is to develop the Software for Ultrasonic sensors which is supplying for the world-wide OEM (Europe, India, NAFTA).  
 
We are looking for an Embedded Software Internship who, along with our excellent software development team, will be responsible for working on projects that are currently being developed by our company.  
 
Duties will include but are not limited to developing and directing software system validation and testing methods, as well as directing our embedded product programming initiatives. You will also be working closely with customers and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.

What You Will Do

• Develop and deliver Python SW application to communicate with ASIC HW Board. 
• Analyze and investigate Firmware, Middleware, HW to identify the root cause. 
• Be responsible for optimization of Software development based on requirements. 
• Analyzing and fixing failure & bugs reported in the Software components. 
• Participate in design and code reviews.

Required Skills and Abilities

• 3rd - 4th year student, relevant background in Engineering (Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Telecommunication). 
• Python Programming: Python GUI (PyQT, PySide6), TCP/IP, USB, REST API, matplotlib. 
• Knowledge in Firmware, Register, Memory. 
• Knowledge in HW like Sensors, USB, Or other Peripherals. 
• Knowledge in C/C++ is a plug. 
• Analysis of customer SW requirements and queries. 
• Debugging skills Preparation of Test Specifications and review. 
• Perform Unit test / System tests / Delivery test etc. 
• Integrate new software modules to existing systems and perform integration testing. 
• Analyzing and fixing issues reported in the SW components. 
• Participate in design and code reviews.
