Internship Program 2024 - Brand Marketing Intern - Consumer

The Programme

Abbott is hiring Brand Interns with the general job scope as below.

SUMMARY:

  • He/she will assist the team in brand marketing operation under the mentoring of Brand Leads and other assigned brand members. 
  • Brand team: will be allocated to one of five nutrition brands (Similac/Pediasure/Grow/Ensure/Glucerna) and focus on  Consumer Marketing (promotion, activation, POSM). 
  • High frequency of interaction: Marketing, Trade Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Public Affairs, CRM, etc. 
  • Working location: Melinh Point Tower, 02 Ngo Duc Ke, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • To be involved in a wide range of Marketing activities to reach target markets, create consumer awareness and effectively promote the brand attributes. Support Marketing team to monitor timeline, following up with key stakeholders. 
  • Prepare detailed promotional activity and alignment with across functions. Develop consumer promotion items (including Marketing material, product & message priority, POSM, gifts, special pack, box...) to run marketing campaigns. 
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing assets such as Digital content (social media, Email, Website and E-commerce platforms), Trade POSM, Activation. 
  • Help with the execution, tracking of marketing in-store Visibility & Activation to meet project objectives and time frame. 
  • Assist in managing consumer journey, operation processes for marketing campaigns. 
  • Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events. 
  • Perform market analysis, research on the latest trends and evaluate competitor marketing activities (TVC, Promotion, Activation, Event). 
  • Brand budget monthly tracking & monitoring; Sales performance tracking & report. 
  • Assist with daily administrative duties, including PR, PO, QC, Receiving, agency liaison and management, appointment/meeting room booking & logistics etc.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and interpersonal skills. 
  • Fluency in English (business level) and Vietnamese. 
  • Good Analytical thinking. 
  • Microsoft Office Suite fluency.

Core Trait/Behavior Requirement:

  • Fond of working with Promotions campaigns, and closely in touch with Consumer. 
  • Creativity to develop marketing asset & store activation activity (Promotional gift/combo, Packaging). 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. 
  • Excellent time management and outstanding multitasking abilities.

Minimum Education Required:

  • Fresh Graduate students (be able to work full-time or only off 1-2 shifts per week, within 6 months from Apr to Oct 2024).
